AGM Thursday 14th May 2015 Dolphin hotel

8 present and a few things sorted out in fact one of the more proactive AGM's of recent years. The mighty Mick Sicknote Andrews has been appointed match secretary a position the club has dire need of as I have been trying to fulfill all these rolls and it is too much for one man.. So Senior Sicknote is now the man and will be organising our matches in future with my help. We are going to look at some sort of permanent pegging system on the meadow to make matches simpler to peg out but this can only happen with the farmers permission which will be discussed with them as cheques for this years rentals of the water are delivered.

The club currently runs with 51 members and could do with 65 plus for clear water financially between ordinary annual outgoings and incomings. Outrage was expressed at the Seal problem but without the EA help there appears to be nothing we can do which means the Meadow will  be at risk if the thing does not leave on its own accord.

The committee was re engaged as is  with the exception of Joe Parker, who has resigned, and the club would like to pass its thanks to Joe for his many years as part of the committee and trustee of the club.

We have a work party scheduled for Meadow Lane on the 11th June meeting at 7 at the gates to the pit complex. The reason for this being our first Sunday match will be Meadow Lane as St Ives have their annual rowing regatta on the Dolphin Meadow on the Saturday
The first match will be the Coote Cup round 1 on "A" section draw at 5.30 fish 6.15 to dusk on the 18th June.
